Sadly my series from Montsalvat is nearly at an end.  Once I have the photos of Dena Ashbolt's 'grand finale' it will be complete.  It won't be the last from Montsalvat however.  I'll still be out there for events and concerts.  It's been such a wonderful experience that they wont be able to keep me away.

My special thanks go to Montsalvat CEO Rob Hauser, without whom the blogs would not have been possible.  He supported me every step of the way.  Also to Sana Kojicin whose professionalism with logistics and contacts was always present.  To Sigmund Jorgensen, thank you for giving up so much of your valuable time to fill me in on the development of Montsalvat's restaurant- The Meeting Pool.  My very sincere thanks to Morag Fraser whose integrity and hard work ensure that Montsalvat will welcome people into it's buildings and grounds for many years to come.  Lastly but by no means least, thank you to the Montsalvat artists and artisans for so generously welcoming me into your studios and allowing me to take endless photos.  It has been such a privilege for me to meet you all.

So...What's next for Isiiad?...I hear you say. The Nillumbik Open Studios Program kicks off again on 30th April-1st May 2011.  I've already met with several of the artists.  My camera has had a serious workout and my creative juices have been tantalized once again.  I can't wait to show you the work of people like Shaaron Smith whose studio and garden is like a wonderland. So April is Open Studio month...  Along with this, I've got some great little finds from as far away as Fitzroy and as close as Warrandyte itself.
