New Montsalvat Studio for Jeanette Dyke

Jeanette_Dyke_Monsalvat_1

I'm pretty happy working from home at my little piece of Warrandyte heaven, but I have to admit that this workspace did have me feeling just a twinge of wistful wishing. Gold and Silversmith, Jeanette Dyke, moved out to her new studio at Montsalvat late last year. I've been out there this morning for a squizzy. As I've never been inside this studio before, I was very excited by the different views it afforded. Every window looks out on the pool.  The double height ceiling allows creativity to soar.  Aaah Montsalvat!

I gave my Canon a really good workout. Enjoy these photos...

Jeanette has plans for a client area with display cases upstairs and will also be holding jewellery making workshops here later in the year.

Now that she has settled in, work has started apace. She is busy on her artist's mission to push out the boundaries of her jewellery making. I promise to keep a bloggers eye on her for any new developments on that front.
